Controls for website analytics, plus a plain-language summary of your US state privacy rights.

Website Analytics

This website uses PostHog to understand which pages people visit, so we can improve the site. It does not run on the iOS app and it is separate from the health data the app collects (see our Privacy Policy for how app data is handled).

Analytics are not currently active in your browser -- there is nothing to opt out of right now.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We automatically honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or a browser extension sends this signal, we start you out opted out of website analytics -- you don't need to do anything else on this page for that to take effect.

California and Other US State Privacy Rights

If you're a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. We don't sell personal information for money. The toggle above is how you control website analytics sharing with PostHog; the toggle below explains the separate advertising measurement setting inside the iOS app.

  • Website analytics (PostHog): controlled by the toggle on this page, and automatically opted out if your browser sends Global Privacy Control.
  • iOS ad measurement (Meta): controlled by the App Tracking Transparency prompt in iOS Settings -- declining it stops us from sharing your advertising identifier with Meta. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown of what is and isn't shared.

Other states (for example Colorado, Connecticut, and Virginia) have similar opt-out rights, and we apply the same controls above regardless of which state you're in -- we don't geofence these choices to California only.

Deleting Your Data

The ProAct app collects health data (attack logs, biometrics) that this website does not have access to. To delete that data, use the account deletion option in the app: go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. Deletion requests go through a 7-day cooling-off period during which you can cancel, and full details of what is deleted are in our Privacy Policy.
