Accessibility Statement

We want everyone, including people who use assistive technology, to be able to use this website.

Our Goal

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA for proactmigraine.com. We have not completed a full audit against every WCAG 2.2 AA criterion, so we do not claim full conformance yet. This statement covers this website. If you have trouble using the ProAct iPhone app, you can report that the same way.

What We Have Done

  • Visible keyboard focus indicators on the links, buttons and form controls of our own pages.
  • A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
  • We respect your device's reduced-motion setting, and the screenshot slideshow on the home page has a pause button.
  • The demo video has no narration or sound, so it plays muted and comes with a written description of what it shows.
  • Links in body text are underlined, and text and controls meet minimum color contrast on the pages we checked.
  • We test with Lighthouse, which runs axe-core, and check our pages using only a keyboard.

Known Limitations

  • We have not yet completed a full manual review with screen readers such as VoiceOver and NVDA.
  • The feedback form on our contact page is provided by a third party (Sentry), and we cannot fully control its accessibility. Email always works as an alternative.
  • We have not independently verified keyboard access in that feedback form or in the native video player controls, which your browser provides.
  • Some longer policy pages still have minor heading-structure issues that we are fixing.

  • The page address (URL) where you had the problem
  • What you were trying to do and what happened
  • Your device, browser and any assistive technology you use
