Why we built this
Migraines are unpredictable, debilitating, and historically managed reactively -- you wait for the attack to start and then try to make it bearable. We think that is the wrong shape. The signals that precede an attack often show up hours or days before the pain. ProAct is our attempt to surface those signals so you can intervene early instead of waiting.
How we work
Privacy and trust
Health data stays private
Raw health sensor data never leaves your iPhone. On the newest iPhones, predictions run fully on-device; on other devices, cloud predictions use only aggregated metrics, processed in-memory and discarded.
No account required
No email, no password, no personal information -- just an anonymous device ID.
Your logs sync anonymously
Migraine logs sync securely to ProAct's backend under your anonymous device ID -- no account or email, and you can export or delete them anytime.
The team
ProAct is built by a small team that lives with migraines. We are not pretending to have all the answers; we are building the tool we wish existed and improving it as we learn what helps.
Medical advisor
We are looking to bring a board-certified neurologist or headache specialist onto the team in an advisory capacity. If that is you, we would love to talk.
